With another week of high school football action in the books, let’s take a look at how Oklahoma State commits fared in their second week of action.

Here is the week 1 recap in case you missed it.

CJ Moore, Wide receiver

Moore went beast mode against Jenks in which he logged 158 receiving yards on four receptions, carried once for 23 rushing yards, and scored 3 TDs through the air.

Union won 59-40 in the Backyard Bowl and is now 3-0 on the season. The win knocked Jenks to 0-3 on the season, the worst starting record for the Trojans since 1968.

Spencer Sanders, Quarterback

In week 1, Sanders was the man going beast mode with nearly 500 yards of total offense and six total touchdowns.

This week, Sanders wasn’t a ground threat but found ways to win by using his cannon of an arm. He threw for 182 yards and 3 TD’s in a 44-3 beatdown of Poteet. Denton Ryan is now 2-0 on the season.

Jahmyl Jeter, Running back

Jeter followed up his 186-yard week 1 outburst with a 126-yard rushing night against Converse Judson on Friday night. He scored a TD and toted it 26 times, but his Brennan High School squad fell 44-28.

Jonathan Shepherd, Wide receiver

Shepherd scored a touchdown through the air and was part of one of the biggest comeback wins of the week. His Kilgore team beat Gladewater 33-21 after scoring 33 unanswered points.

Jaelyn Nolan, athlete

Brownfield fell to 0-2 after losing 49-14 to Greenwood, but Nolan was one of the bright spots.

Nolan tossed for 205 yards on 23-of-44 passing and 64 yards on the ground and tossed two INT’s. The athlete from Brownfield is expected to play on the defensive side of the ball at OSU. Below are highlights from his week 1 game against Clyde.
