It’s always a good time to be a wide receiver recruit if you’re 6-foot-4, but it’s been especially good of late for Class of 2021’s Keon Coleman. Coleman, from Louisiana, has completely exploded on the recruiting circuit since April took off, with Oklahoma State joining his recent list of offers on Friday.

The Pokes join Louisville, Oklahoma, Kansas, FIU, Michigan State, Indiana, Mississippi State, Boston College, Florida A&M and others among those who have offered just this week. He now holds 30 total offers.

In addition to the frame, Coleman also has the ball skills and after-catch ability to put up big numbers, last season tallying 22 (!) touchdowns and 1,143 yards receiving. Here’s what 247Sports’ Gabe Brooks said of his abilities when scouting him this past season:

Owns terrific frame for elite wideout prospect. Tall and long with a ton of frame space to add bulk. Dynamic, explosive athlete who competes in football, basketball, and track and field. Division I-caliber prospect in football and basketball. Electric leaper. Produces highlight reel dunks on the hardwood and impressive ball-winning plays on the gridiron. Big-play machine who scored 22 TD’s on 35 catches and 32.7 yards per catch as a junior. Also dominant at DB with seven INT’s. Not only explosive but shows encouraging dexterity as an athlete. Long-striding speed-builder who stretches the field vertically. Plays fast enough but can get faster in his long speed. Will face significant jump in competition going from small-school ball to high-major level. Raw technically in footwork and route-running. Basketball nimbleness does not always translate to field. Regardless, elite athlete with very promising overall profile. Power 5-caliber recruit who possesses a high ceiling with long-term potential to reach the NFL Draft. [247Sports]

Combine all that, and it makes sense why his options right now are limitless, with standing offers from Florida State, Texas A&M and just about every high-major program with a need at WR.

OSU has long prioritized size in scouting and recruiting receivers — four of the most recent WR signees for OSU the last few cycles have been 6-foot-4 or taller — so this is just a continuation of that trend.

He’d be a stellar addition for OSU in a class that, right now, has just one commitment, though there are plenty of irons in the fire. He’s now one of 16 listed WR offers for OSU in the cycle, with Quay Davis, Bryson and Blaine Green, and Bryce Stephens looking like the most legitimate options at this point. Coleman is the ninth four-star offer at the position in the cycle.
