Four-star RB Daniyel Ngata Names Oklahoma State in Top Five Schools
OSU is in the running to land a top-100 player from Cali.
Oklahoma State is in the mix to land the No. 2 running back prospect in the 2020 recruiting class.
Four-star prospect Daniyel Ngata included the Pokes in his top five this past week along with Texas A&M, Clemson, Utah and Arizona State. Ngata is from Folsom, California, who whittled his list from 24 to 5.
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.”

OSU is still searching for its running back in the 2020 cycle and Ngata would be as big as OSU could get in the way of a commitment. Here’s what he told 247 about OSU after trimming his list:
“Oklahoma State is a program on the rise,” he said. “I have a great relationship with a few of the coaches. And they have a good deal with the running back position.”
Ngata’s brothers Joe and Arial both played at Washington, so staying on the West coast seems an option, but for now the 247 crystal ball reads 100 percent in favor of Texas A&M for now. OSU has time to sway him one way or the other, though, and with an opening and potential early playing time to offer he could be a guy to keep tabs on into the fall.
