Oklahoma State’s 2015 schedule came out on Wednesday and because I want to do anything that doesn’t involved thinking about the 2014 season I thought we should take a look.

Here it is:

Sept. 5 – at Central Michigan
Sept. 12 – Central Arkansas
Sept. 19 – UTSA
Sept. 26 – at Texas
Oct. 3 – Kansas State
Oct. 10 – at West Virginia
Oct. 17 – Bye
Oct. 24 – Kansas
Oct. 31 – at Texas Tech
Nov. 7 – TCU
Nov. 14 – at Iowa State
Nov. 21 – Baylor
Nov. 28 – Oklahoma

As always, I have thoughts.

• Six games, bye week, six games. Gundy has long said he hates multiple bye weeks breaking up the season so he should love this setup. Good for fans, too.

• Is Dan LeFevour still around or no?

• I can’t remember the last time we played Texas in September. That will be weird. Hopefully they’ll be missing their sea legs like this year.

• November, wow! TCU, Baylor and Bedlam at home. That’s immense.

• I see you trying to drum up storylines, Big 12 commissioner’s office, scheduling “at Iowa State” as close to the anniversary of the last “at Iowa State.”

• OSU should try to position itself to win Big 12 titles in odd-numbered years until somebody changes this schedule.

You get what will likely end up as the four best teams in the Big 12 (TCU, KSU, Baylor and OU) at home. All you have to do is take care of Texas and WVU (…) on the road.
