Top rated point guard Admon Gilder (Dallas, Tex.) has been weighing his options for awhile now, and he said on Twitter that that he would announce his commitment on Thursday.[1. He previously decided to decide on Wednesday but changed his mind. Kids…]

Gilder is a 4-star shooting guard and one of the top 30 in the country according to 247 and he seems excited about the proposition of playing in Stillwater..

“Oklahoma State is in Stillwater, so the school is the main thing,” said Gilder. “The whole city is for Oklahoma State so they have a great fan base, and the coaches are great. Coach Pierre is real cool and Coach Ford is obviously a great coach.”

“Coach Ford played at Kentucky and stuff like that, so he knows what it is like to be a guard.”

He also told Zagsblog.com that Jawun Evans’ commitment may have impacted him.

“I like them that they always get Dallas players…They just got one Jawun Evans. They are known to get Dallas players and I like that.”

“We are good friends. When he first came down here I was already in contact with him because him and Elijah were already good friends. Once he came down here, I was kind of already hanging out with him before he even came down here, so he came here to visit and I was I here before he even came to Dallas and we built a relationship then.

“He’s a phenomenal point guard, probably one of the best guards in the country and I just know if I make my decision to go to Oklahoma State, we’ll have fun and do some good things at Oklahoma State.”

“Elijah” would be Elijah Thomas who has OSU in his final six and is deciding later this month.

If Ford were able to nab Gilder and Thomas to pit with Evans that would be a pretty tremendous recruiting feat.

According to 247 all three are ranked in the top 10 of graduating seniors from the state.[1. ESPN actually has all three in the top six!]
