Starkel has #KeptClimbing in recruiting circles since his commitment to OSU. As ESPN senior writer Jeremy Crabtree noted, Starkel doesn’t have the same resume as the other quarterbacks but his accuracy and poise is clearly being noticed at The Opening this week. Camp is far from over, but cracking the top 11 is quite an accomplishment for Starkel.
#OKState QB commit Nick Starkel didn't come into #Elite11 w/ as big of resume as others, but really liked how accurate was in 1st session.
