Oklahoma State One of First to Offer Rising Kansas DL Jalen Marshall
Marshall is a rising star from Overland Park.
Class of 2022 defensive tackle prospect Jalen Marshall got his first Division I offer on Thursday. Then a few hours later, he got his second.
The 6-foot-4, 260 pound lineman from Overland Park, Kansas, announced in the afternoon that Arkansas had become his first Division I offer before Oklahoma State officially joined the fold, becoming his first Big 12 offer.

Marshall is unranked according to recruiting websites, but he’s just one of only two offers in the 2022 class for OSU at the position, joining all-name team candidate Bear Alexander. Early offers for OSU typically portend future recruiting rise. (Kansas offered on Friday.)
OSU has had success recruiting from the area where Marshall plays, and specifically, St. Thomas Aquinas, in recent years. Class of 2019 offensive tackle signee Joe Michaelski was a standout at the school before signing with OSU over Cornell, Dartmouth, Texas State and a few others last year.
OSU also has several other Kansas natives on the roster including Quinton Stewart and Teven Jenkins.
Here’s a look at his highlights from his breakout sophomore season.
