Oklahoma State was historically inept on offense against WVU

One final look at Oklahoma State’s futility against West Virginia and we’ll move on to Kansas State.

19 drives, 21 points, and 10 punts, which is what Saturday consisted of, is awful — one of the worst outings offensively of the Mike Gundy era.

In fact, the 10 punts are the fifth-most ever in a non-Bedlam game in Oklahoma State history and most since 1992. Here’s the list:

By the way, that 1923 Kansas game was a 9-0 loss in case you were wondering. OSU scored 40 points that season. Like, for the entire season.

Also, OSU scored exactly 1.11 points per drive on Saturday. Here is their average PPD for the last six years and how many points each of those teams would have scored (on average) if they had played in this WVU game and had 19 possessions…
