Oklahoma State’s football team is getting a barbershop
“That’s the one thing that Oklahoma State planned to add which I found pretty darn humorous.”
On the Football Scoop podcast recently, it was revealed that Oklahoma State is about to add a barbershop to its already-crazy facilities at Boone Pickens Stadium.
Football Scoop president Scott Roussel hopped on the podcast recently to chat about his recent tour de Oklahoma, including Stillwater.
“I don’t know how to rave enough about it,” said Roussel about OSU’s facilities. “Stillwater is out there a bit. It’s way out there a bit. But once you get there and you see this, you are blown away.”
“The one thing Oklahoma State pointed out to us that they’re about to install in the locker room is a barber shop,” said Roussell.
“They’re like ‘that’s the big thing that gets kids excited these days.’ So that’s the one thing that Oklahoma State planned to add which I found pretty darn humorous.”
I’m in on that. I want to add a barbershop to my house and hire Mrs. Pistols to cut my hair once a week. It might raise a few eyebrows but I can see why it sells.
Other schools that have done it include Tennessee, Oregon and Texas A&M.
