OSU Opens as 4-Point Underdog to Texas A&M in Texas Bowl
Another piece of bulletin board material for OSU.
The Cowboys will face a familiar foe this postseason when they take on former Big 12 South rival Texas A&M in the Texas Bowl. And the visiting Pokes aren’t getting any love from Vegas.
Texas A&M opened as a 4-point favorite over OSU, according to sportsbook Vegas Insider, a number that quickly moved to 4.5.
The Aggies (7-5) ended their season with consecutive losses to top-five teams Georgia and LSU, losing to the latter in blowout fashion 50-7 in Baton Rouge. The Cowboys bounced back from back-to-back losses at Texas Tech and at home to Baylor by firing off four straight wins before a Bedlam home loss to Oklahoma.
Oklahoma State is 7-3-2 against the spread this season and 4-1-1 ATS away from Boone Pickens Stadium. The No. 25 Cowboys will play the role of visitor to the unranked Aggies in Houston. A&M is 7-5 against the spread so far in 2019.
Oklahoma State is 2-2 as an underdog this year and A&M is 7-1 when favored.
