Game 2 of the season for Oklahoma State is hours away (minutes away) dependent upon when you’re reading this.

After the Cowboys walloped Missouri State as expected in its opener, they’ll face a slightly more talented, quicker opponent this weekend as South Alabama rolls into Stillwater. The Jaguars lost their opener to La. Tech last week, and are seeking revenge not only from a Week 1 loss, but from their lopsided loss to OSU last season in which they scored only seven points on their home turf.

Revenge is easier said than done for USA, though, as it enters Saturday as a hefty underdog. To prep for the game, the PFB team made its predictions along with final score guesses on how tonight will turn out.

Kyle Porter: 45-14 Pokes. Justice gets 75 cents worth of quarters in this week, and OSU’s talented defense either gets a score or creates an easy one for the offense.

Kyle Boone: 52-24 good guys. I think USA’s three-QB rotation and motion offense will expose some weaknesses in the OSU defense, but I don’t think it ultimately matters after Justice, JD, Chuba and LD — the four horsemen — go for 500+ yards rushing on the night.

Kyle Cox: OSU 55 – USA 10. The Cowboys go up big early so Cornelius gets to sit. Dru Brown makes his OSU debut and does just enough against a low-tier Sun Belt team to make things interesting going into next week. The defense looks like world-beaters against an inept Jaguar offense with real QB questions. We learn mostly nothing but we still come out of tonight with all of the takes.

Marshall Scott: 52-7 OSU – I think some stuff will be figured out tonight. I think Cornelius will have a better game. I think the defense will be tighter.

Dustin Ragusa: 51-13. I was not impressed at all with South Alabama last week after watching their game against Louisiana Tech. They won’t have any answer for the weapons Oklahoma State has on offense, and with the inconsistency at quarterback play, I don’t think USA will have much success on the other side of the ball either.

Carson Cunningham: 52-20. Druuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.

Staffer Score Prediction
Porter 45-14
Boone 52-24
Cox 55-10
Marshall 52-7
Ragusa 51-13
Cunningham 52-20
