Rickie Fowler Buys Beers for Media Tent After Walk-Off Ace
Greatest headline ever?
Rickie Fowler made a hole-in-one on his final hole at the Quicken Loans National on Thursday to shoot a 4-under 67. It was awesome.
He was so excited about it, he skipped buying beers for the clubhouse and just bought them for the entire media tent. He left a note that said “it’s not a mortgage for a year, but enjoy a cold one on me.”
The mortgage bit is a reference to the fact that one person (who signed up as a contestant) gets their mortgage paid off because of Fowler’s ace.
Can we repeat this at the PGA Championship, Rickie?
