Some important dates to circle on the calendar

Football season is nearly 50 days away and OSU has given us a few dates to keep tabs on.

Here they are:

Sunday July 20 and Monday July 21: Oklahoma State coaches to attend Texas High School Coaches Convention and Clinic

I do wonder if high school coaches look at Gundy and say “wait, this is all I have to be to make $3.5 a year?”

Monday, July 21: Mike Gundy and Players (Jhajuan Seales-WR, Kevin Peterson-CB, and Ryan Simmons-LB) attend Big 12 Conference Football Media Days

Nobody for Walsh to lead at media days?

Wednesday, July 23: Media Golf Event with Mike Gundy and Oklahoma State coaching staff at Karsten Creek

How much fun would it be to play in this and have Gundy talk some noise in your ear. He’d be spewing “hot women, hot chicks” lines and I’d be gakking 3-footers, Kevin Stadler-style.

Friday, July 25: Football 101 for Women

Thayer Evans probably thinks this is something different than what it actually is.

Tuesday, July 29: OSU coaching staff at Oklahoma Coaches Association Convention

Man, that Bill Young appearance is going to be awwwwwwwwwwwwkward.

Thursday, July 31: Cowboys players check in for the start of fall camp

Yes.

Friday, Aug. 1: First day of practice in fall camp

Yes!

Saturday, Aug. 30: Oklahoma State vs. Florida State at AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas. Kickoff is at 7:08 p.m.
