Freshman Tracker: J.D. King Nearing 100 Carries Entering Regular Season Finale
J.D. King and Tylan Wallace both saw roles, albeit limited, in a 45-40 loss on Saturday to Kansas State. King logged three carries for 14 yards while Justice Hill toted it 23 times for 91 hard-earned yards; Wallace caught just one ball that went for 13 yards.
On defense, Thabo Mwaniki and Malcolm Rodriguez, the lone non-redshirt defensive players, both logged tackles in the losing effort. In the absence of safety Tre Flowers in the first half, Mwaniki got the nod as the starter for the second time this season.
Here’s a look at the four true frosh’s stats from this weekend along with updated season stats.
