Hit Play-off Round 1: Vote for Your Favorite Play of the Season

Published

on

After each week of the season, we hand-picked four of the most reel-worthy highlight plays and you voted for your favorite. Well, these blue-blood clips passed the eye test and we’re on to the playoff.

We’ll simply divide these up in three rounds, the first includes the top plays from Weeks 1-4. Just vote with the attached Twitter poll below and the winners of Rounds 1-3 will face off for one final poll to decide the top play of Oklahoma State’s season.

Week 1: Tyron’s Welcome Parade

This one was a no-brainer at the time. In what was sure to be the first of many, the blue-chip transfer reeled in his only catch against Tulsa for 44 yards and six. Maybe we should have seen his place in the pecking order with some many pro-worthy receivers ahead of him. Johnson wouldn’t score again until Bedlam. But with plenty of reps up for grabs next year, there should be more where this came from.

Week 2: Daniels and Phillips Team up for Pick-6

Sugar Loaf got his bear paw up and tipped a South Alabama pass, and Phillips was just in the right place at the right time. He’s shown a knack for that. This would be the first of back-to-back games with pick-6s for Phillips.

Week 3: Rudolph looks the part against Pitt

We were calling this a Heisman moment when it happened, and it fit the bill. Over his career, Rudolph has shown the ability to be crafty in the pocket and hard to take down, traits which should help at the next level.

Week 4: Rudolph-to-Washington for 86 and six against TCU

There aren’t many of these left for us to enjoy but the Rudolph-Washington deep-ball connection has been a thing of beauty. The duo has been the best ever in that department at Oklahoma State and the best in the country during their decorated careers. Here’s to seeing a couple more against Virginia Tech’s secondary.

Stay tuned for Round 2 next week.
