Emmanuel Ogbah Among Browns Players Who Grubbed Down on $37K Rookie Tab
A rookie, Emmanuel Ogbah is not. Which means his wallet stays fat these days while he grubs down on the tab of lowly rookies.
On Tuesday, Ogbah posted to his snapchat story a few screenshots as proof of his joyful experience in which he and other Browns defensive linemen spent a cool $37K (!!) at a team dinner and didn’t pay a dime. In typical Ogbah fashion, he politely gave the rookies who provided the meal — including 2017 No. 1 pick Myles Garrett — a shoutout as thanks.
Do you feel that knot in your stomach? That’s you realizing that a bunch of football players spent more money on food in a night than you will in a decade.
No worries, though. Garrett’s financial outlook after signing a $30.4 million contract as the No. 1 draft pick probably means this hefty tab stings a little less than your normal tab with commas included.
