Oklahoma State Offers Younger Brother of Cole Walterscheid
On Friday, Oklahoma State extended an offer to a rising 2019 product from Muenster, Texas who has deep ties to the Pokes.
Kody Walterscheid, the younger brother of current Oklahoma State defensive end Cole Walterscheid, announced the Pokes extended him an offer via Twitter. The younger Walterscheid is a 6-6, 235-pound prospect who just wrapped his junior season.
I confirmed with Walterscheid that OSU has offered him as a strong-side defensive end.

Walterscheid has made a number of unofficial visits to Oklahoma State since Cole has been at Oklahoma State — including a summer visit in 2017 for a camp where he apparently impressed the coaches with his talent.
Kody is definitely a raw prospect, much like Cole was when he arrived, but given the right treatment from Robert Glass he could be a game-changer. A dual-sport athlete and basketball standout, his athleticism gives him plenty of upside and it’s why this offer — the first Power Five for him — makes sense.
