Four-star Guard Avery Anderson Makes Unofficial Oklahoma State Visit
Four-star Class of 2019 guard Avery Anderson, a Northwest High School top-100 prospect playing for RM5 Elite on the AAU circuit, made an unofficial campus visit to Oklahoma State on Friday according to Corey Evans of Rivals.com and Kellen Buffington of The TB5 Reports.
Anderson is a combo guard who can play both at the point and off the ball as a scoring guard on the perimeter. He was reportedly offered a scholarship by the Cowboys last summer, and also has offers from Florida, LSU, SMU, TCU and Texas A&M.

Originally from New Orleans, Anderson, listed at 6-2 and 165 pounds, has emerged as a star in the Fort Worth area, and namely for his exploits on the AAU circuit. I watched him last summer during an event in Tulsa with former OSU assistant Lamont Evans on hand, and he was the best player on the floor on a team loaded with Div. I hopefuls.
Anderson’s handles coupled with his shiftiness and ability to finish around the rim makes for an intriguing prospect to watch as OSU looks to add to its 2019 class and build upon the early additions of Keylan and Kalib Boone, the lone 2019 commits that make up OSU’s top-10 nationally-ranked class.
