Chance Cook to Step Away from OSU Football Team
Oklahoma State walk-on football player Chance Cook announced Wednesday he has stepped away from the team.
Cook, a junior, tweeted that he didn’t get offered a scholarship, and his plan as of now is to graduate in May to use his remaining two years of eligibility elsewhere.

Cook played in every game last season, primarily with special teams. He did start the Kansas State game in the secondary, though. At the end of the 2017 season, Cook was awarded the Outstanding Walk-On award, along with wide receiver Landon Wolf.
Cook was also a captain twice last season.
He played 12 games as a freshman, primarily with special teams.
Cook came to OSU from Canadian High School, where he was named to a Texas all-state team as a junior and senior.
