Cowboy Hoops Team Dominates in European Tour Finale
The Oklahoma State basketball team crushed the Greek All-Stars 93-49 on Saturday to conclude its three-game tour of Europe.
The Cowboys had another solid outing from freshman guard Isaac Likekele, who scored 14 points and had six rebounds. Likekele was one of five OSU players to score in double figures, along with freshman Maurice Calloo (13), Lindy Waters (12), Michael Weathers (11) and Thomas Dziagwa (10).
OSU coach Mike Boynton used his third different starting lineup, trotting out freshmen Likekele, Duncan Demuth and Yor Anei with Dziagwa and graduate transfer Mike Cunningham. Dziagwa was the only player Boynton started in all three games.
After a rough start to the tour against the Italian B team, the Cowboys defeated their remaining two opponents by a combined 56 points.
The team has another two days of sightseeing before returning to Stillwater on Tuesday.
