Two-Time Montana State Champ Chance McLane Commits to OSU
Cowboys fill a need with big-time Montana commitment.
The Cowboys have landed quite a few recruits in the past few weeks. Colt Newton was the first ball to drop last Tuesday and Kansas State champion Triston Wills announced his commitment last week also.
Almost simultaneously with Newton, two-time Montana state champion Chance McLane, announced his decision. His dad tweeted out last Tuesday that he would be a Cowboy.
Pleased to announce that Chance has decided to further his academics as well as wrestling career at Oklahoma State University! Go Cowboys! #pistolsfiring pic.twitter.com/cAfw6ntcib

McLane, who is on pace to be a three-time state champ, won a state title last year at 145 pounds and his freshman year at 103 and he finished third at 120 pounds his sophomore year. As we discussed in my interview with Dusty Hone, the Cowboys don’t have any commitments around this size currently, so this is definitely a nice addition.
