Chasing History: Justice Ties Bob Fenimore in Career Rushing TDs
Justice Hill didn’t make up as much ground this week.
It didn’t help that when he touched the ball he was already surrounded by Cyclone defenders. Hill’s 66 rushing yards against Iowa State was the fewest he had rushed for in a Big 12 game since he ran for 58 against Kansas last season.
He’s at 3,252 career rushing yards and still eighth on OSU’s all-time list.

Hill’s one score was enough to put him even with newfound 1945 national champion Bob Fenimore at 28 career rushing touchdowns. That also puts him at eighth on OSU’s all-time list, with Tatum Bell and Jeremy Smith tied at 34 above him.

Hill averaged 2.8 yards a carry Saturday against Iowa State. That dropped Hill from sixth to eighth on OSU’s yards per carry list. The 2.8 yards per carry is the least Hill has averaged since OSU’s game against South Alabama in 2017. It’s tied for the least he’s ever rushed for in a Big 12 game with the West Virginia game his freshman season.

Hill’s yards per game didn’t take a drastic hit, dropping from 102.8 to 101.6. Hill remains behind Thurman Thomas, who is third on the Cowboys’ all-time list for the stat.
