OSU Recruiting: Pair of 2022 Basketball Standouts Pick Up Scholarship Offers
Mike Boynton tries to stay hot on the recruiting trail.
As the heart of the fall recruiting period wages on, Oklahoma State’s coaching staff remains busy both with new offers and expected visitors for this upcoming weekend’s homecoming game.
The latest developments on the recruiting trail from Tuesday include a pair of new offers to two Class of 2022 standouts, the first of which hails from St. Mark’s High School out of Dallas in Colin Smith.
Smith is a 6-6, 170-pound small forward. Georgetown, Kansas, TCU and Baylor have also offered in addition to the Pokes. Smith plays for Texas Hardwork on the AAU circuit, one of Under Armour’s top squads within the Lone Star state.
The second notable 2022 offer shipped out this week is one of high intrigue. Cason Wallace, the cousin of former OSU standout Terrell Harris, also announced he’d been offered by OSU. Harris also happens to be his trainer.
Wallace also happens to be quite skilled.

Texas A&M, DePaul and TCU have also offered. Wallace is a combo guard who, at 6-2, is probably more of a projected point guard. He goes to Richardson High School in Texas.
