OSU’s Joe Smith to Wrestle at Bob Smith Open on Sunday
He’s one of 10 going to Fort Hays.
The Cowboys are sending ten guys to wrestle at the Bob Smith Open this weekend at Fort Hays State University. These are the entries.
One name that really jumps out? Two-time All-American Joseph Smith at 174.
I’m often asked what his status is and what fans should expect to see from him this year? My answer: I’m not really sure. With the depth around his weight he could be getting beat out for the spot. He’s also had injury issues over the years and that could be keeping him out. I really don’t know.
But we now know he will see his first action of the season on Sunday at Fort Hays.
