Michael Weathers Leaves West Virginia Game With Right Ankle Sprain
No. 23 goes down with a leg injury.
Michael Weathers left the floor in Morgantown where Oklahoma State is trying to pull its record to 2-2 in the Big 12 this year, and Mike Boynton is trying to go 2-0 against Bob Huggins.
Weathers has an apparent right ankle sprain after he was taken out from behind while in press break. Weathers dragged himself to the sideline before being helped to the locker room.
Per @holcombOKBLITZ on the #okstate radio broadcast, Michael Weathers has a right ankle sprain and is his ankle is being retaped in an effort to get him back on the floor.

These short-handed Pokes can’t really afford to not have Weathers, and it sound like he’ll make an attempt to come back later in the day. Weathers came into the day fourth on OSU in PPG averaging 10.1 and third in assists with 2.1.
