We Need to Talk About This Filthy Spencer Sanders Dime to C.J. Moore
Spencer Sanders is dropping dimes in practice and whoooo boy.
Spencer Sanders did a thing. Seriously.
We know this, thanks to the power of Twitter. The redshirt freshman quarterback, who appears to be in a battle with graduate transfer Dru Brown for the starting gig to succeed Taylor Cornelius, rifled a pass in practice to fellow redshirt freshman C.J. Moore this week. The result was a one-handed catch from Moore, the Tulsa Union standout.
The catch itself was impressive, but the pass? Whooo boy, the pass. Tight spiral. Perfect trajectory. Impeccable timing. Moore caught it just as soon as he was about to go out of bounds.

Mike Gundy said earlier in the week that Friday would be a day of separation in the quarterback race because, to this point, Brown and Sanders have been splitting first team reps equally.
“They’re still babied a little bit right now based on the way practices are set up just from youth,” Gundy said. “They’re on their own Friday. We’ll see what they do.
“As soon as we think there’s some separation, you guys know my history, I’m not waiting until a certain time to say anything,” Gundy said. “We haven’t gotten to that point yet. That should be the first organized practice to where we could start to see how much they actually know.”
And your thoughts, C.J.?
