Dru Brown Talks for First Time as a Cowboy About Faith and Football
Dru Brown talks Dru Brown, and what drew him to OSU.
Thursday night, the Oklahoma State football Twitter account posted a 25 second video with the caption “This weekend: meet your QBs.”
That perplexed the PFB Slack a little bit because fan appreciation day isn’t until next week and the two won’t meet with the media until then either. But it all made sense Friday, as OSU tweeted out this cool mini-feature on Dru Brown.

In it, Brown talks about his family, finding his faith at the College of San Mateo and how fishing in Oklahoma gives him some of the same feelings as surfing in Hawaii.
“Oklahoma State just gives a very good opportunity, and I knew that from the second that I visited here,” Brown said. “Just the amount of resources that they have here and the style of offense, playing quarterback, it was very appealing. It seemed like a really good fit for me.
“I don’t have enough time to talk about the quality of people here that have helped the transition be easier. They welcomed me with open arms.”
There should be one with Spencer Sanders on the way, so stay tuned.
