OSU Joins Alabama, Texas and Others in Offering 2022 Texas QB Quinn Ewers
OSU dishes out an offer for the future.
Oklahoma State has made an offer to Class of 2022 quarterback prospect Quinn Ewers, joining a long list of top programs like Alabama, Texas, Florida, Ohio State and others in the pursuit of one of Texas’ best signal-callers.
Ewers is so young 247Sports has yet to establish a ranking for him, but his offer sheet speaks volumes about how many stars may soon be sitting next to his name. As does this: he’s OSU’s first (and thus far, only) QB offer in the 2022 class.
Fitting that OSU made him a priority, too, considering his Twitter avatar strikes a resemblance to a blonde-headed Mike Gundy:

2022 feels like eons away, but OSU’s already laid the groundwork for what may be a solid class. It has one commitment in 2021 and already two in 2022 — from Kelvin Banks and De’Kelvion Beamon. Adding a building block like a QB — particularly one of Ewers’ ilk — could swing some serious recruiting momentum.
The fact that Ewers plays at talent-rich Southlake Carroll can’t hurt, either. It’s where three-star receiver Brady Boyd, who also holds an OSU offer, also plays.
As a sophomore on varsity last season, Ewers threw for 4,003 yards and scored 54 total touchdowns.
