Video: John Smith Previews Dual against No. 1 Iowa
OSU travels to Iowa for a bout with the No. 1 Hawkeyes on Sunday.
STILLWATER — Last season’s Oklahoma State vs. Iowa dual was a highlight of the college wrestling season, and the teams will run it back Sunday.
At 12-0 this season, the Hawkeyes are the No. 1 team in the country, besting No. 2 Penn State 19-17 at the end of January. At 13-2, OSU is having a relatively “down year,” suffering losses to Lehigh and Northern Iowa.
OSU coach John Smith met with reporters Tuesday afternoon to discuss the highly anticipated matchup.
