Mike Gundy Went Hog Hunting Over the Weekend With His Family
Of course he did!
Mike Gundy is an avid hunter of birds, of rattlesnakes, of deer … and, apparently, of hogs.
Over the weekend, it appears Gundy chose to hunt the hog variety with his youngest son, Gage. On Twitter, he posted photos of the two hunting together along with two guides from the Oklahoma area:
Fun weekend hog hunting with a great group. Big thanks to our guide Aaron, Deep Red Outfitters (Grandfield, OK) and Stuart Ranch Outfitters (Waurika, OK). pic.twitter.com/7V7Qwc1CTa

No word yet on if they had any success.
Gundy’s hunting ventures have been well-documented over the years and his rattlesnake hunt in 2017 went very, very viral. He likes to talk about that passion of his more than the 3-3-5 or recruiting strategy or anything else, too. He even gave us some rattlesnake hunting wisdom a few years back!
Mostly, it’s a reprieve — albeit probably brief — from the grind of running a top-25 college football program. And it’s fun for him.
“I may be on the Animal Planet some day,” Gundy said in 2017. “That’s my next gig.”
