Dean Heil to Wrestle Austin O’Connor on December 4th
Heil and O’Connor to wrestle at Tar Heel Wrestling Open
Coleman Scott and the Tar Heel Wrestling Club will be hosting an event on December 4th called the Tar Heel Wrestling Open. The event will be aired on Fite TV and will feature former Cowboy and two-time NCAA champion Dean Heil.
Heil will be taking on Austin O’Connor, who finished third at the 2019 NCAA championships at 149 pounds.
The Tar Heel Wrestling Club has announced eight other bouts for the event, one featuring the son of Oklahoma State legend Kenny Monday.
North Carolina is coached by former Cowboy Coleman Scott, who is assisted by other former Cowboys Jamill Kelly and Gary Wayne Harding.
The Tar Heel Wrestling Club is led by former Cowboy Kenny Monday and features another former Cowboy Jordan Oliver as one of their premier athletes.
Heil currently trains with the Navy-Marine Corps RTC in Annapolis, Maryland.
