Oklahoma State Finishes at No. 21 in CFP Ranking
Cowboys remain at No. 21 in final CFP ranking.
The Cowboys stayed put in the final ranking released by the College Football Playoff committee, remaining at 21. It’s the same rank the Pokes earned in this week’s Amway Coaches poll. The Cowboys aren’t ranked in the AP Top 25.
Oklahoma State was ranked 23rd in the committee’s first ranking of 2020, which came out in Week 13, then jumped to 15 after beating Texas Tech. The Pokes dropped down to 22 after the TCU loss and climbed one spot after blowing out Baylor.
Oklahoma State has been ranked in the committee’s final Top 25 in five of the seven years since the CFP’s inception.
The final rankings includes four Big 12 teams with conference champ Oklahoma landing at No. 6, runner-up Iowa State at No. 10 and then Texas at No. 20, just ahead of OSU.
