OSU Signee John Paul Richardson Mossed a Dude in Playoff Game
A soon-to-be Cowboy showed his big-catch and big-play abilities.
Oklahoma State 2021 signee John Paul Richardson is expected to move to Stillwater and enroll next month, but before that he’s got some unfinished business.
On Saturday, his Ridge Point Panthers defeated the Atascocita Eagles 55-44 in the Texas 6A D1 regional semifinal, and Richardson — and his ability to make plays like this — was a big reason why.
And then there was this one, when he broke a tackle with a strong shove and then picked up 30 more yards and a score.
He also nearly took a kickoff return to the house.
Richardson is just the 16th-highest rated player to sign for Oklahoma State so far in the class and the No. 4 receiver. But given his ability to Moss dudes as well as the track speed he showed off, he may be the next diamond-in-the-rough wideout to come to Oklahoma State and shine.
Here’s Richardson after the win. His Panthers will move on to a Regional Finals matchup against North Shore on Jan. 1.
