The basketball higher-ups have smiled down upon us. Day basketball is great in the NCAA Tournament, but a 5:25 pm. tip in god’s time zone? That’s just beautiful. You won’t even have to find a bootleg stream on your phone then be forced to try and hide the screen from your boss. Perfect scenario.
It’s also prime television real estate, so clearly the TV execs know what they’re doing. They’re getting Cade Cunningham in a primetime window.
Even better, the fourth-seeded Pokes and their 13-seeded foe, Liberty, will have the great Kevin Harlan on the call. Dan Bonner and Dana Jacobson will also be on the call. Good news all around.
