OSU Hoops Offers 2023 In-State Prospect Brandon Garrison
OSU is just the second program to offer the in-state center.
The state of Oklahoma’s 2023 class looks as if it will be a great one, as Mike Boynton just offered a third in-state standout from that cycle.
Del City big man Brandon Garrison announced an Oklahoma State offer on Sunday. Garrison joins Putnam City North’s Jeremiah Johnson and Mustang’s Jacobe Johnson as in-state players with Cowboy offers in the cycle.
Who Is He?
Garrison is listed at 6-foot-9, 205 pounds, and as if being a 6-9 sophomore isn’t a big enough advantage, Garrison has long arms and a knack for blocking shots.
He is raw, as most prospects his age are, but he already has a nice bit of muscle on his long frame.
Garrison plays his AAU ball with the Blake Griffin-sponsored Team Griffin.
In the Rankings
Not many recruiting outlets have expansive 2023 rankings yet, but 247Sports lists Garrison as the No. 67 player in his class. That makes him the No. 2 Oklahoman in the class behind Jeremiah Johnson (No. 17 overall).
Others Involved
OSU is just the second program in on Garrison, joining Tulsa.
