Oklahoma State Offers Three-Star Edge Rusher Chase Kennedy
OSU offers a hard-hitting DE from Big D.
Recruiting doesn’t stop for the Cowboys’ staff during the football season.
Oklahoma State offered three-star defensive end prospect Chase Kennedy on Monday, just two days removed from the Pokes’ season-opening victory against Missouri State.
Who Is He?
Listed at 6-foot-3, 225 pounds, Kennedy plays at Episcopal School of Dallas. He’s a quick, hard-hitting edge rusher with excellent pursuit.
His ESD squad is 2-0 in 2021, and according to Kennedy’s Twitter, he’s already made at least a pair of highlight plays.
In the Rankings
A three-star recruit according to 247Sports and Rivals, Kennedy is listed as the No. 1,340 player in the 2022 class in the composite rankings. That makes him the No. 58 edge rusher in the country and the No. 186 player from Texas.
Others Involved
Kennedy’s first scholarship offer came in March from Utah, and he has picked up 14 others since.
He has Power Five offers from Oklahoma State, TCU, Utah, Kansas State, Washington State, Nebraska, Minnesota, Illinois and Boston College. TCU seems to be the early favorite, as his grandfather, Eugene Kennedy, played basketball there in the early 70s.
