Robert Griffin III Part of Broadcast Team for Baylor Matchup Saturday
RG3 returns to his own personal house of horrors.
Oklahoma State will welcome Baylor to Stillwater, America, on Saturday, and a Baylor legend will be narrating the whole thing.
Part of the ESPN2 broadcast team will include Heisman-winning QB Robert Griffin III, ESPN announced this week, with Mark Jones and Quint Kessenich also set to be on the call. The game will also be carried as usual on the Cowboy Radio Network with Dave Hunziker, John Holcomb and Robert Allen.
Griffin III’s return to Stillwater comes a decade after Boone Pickens Stadium became his own personal house of horrors on the turf. Against OSU in 2011, his Heisman-winning season, he had 425 yards passing but twice threw interceptions and committed another turnover via fumble in a 59-24 loss to the Pokes.
The game Saturday is expected to be closer than the one that took place between Baylor and OSU ten years ago. OSU is a 4-point favorite over the 4-0 Bears, according to Vegas Insider, the smallest margin OSU has been favored to win by all season (though OSU was an underdog against Boise State).
