Daton Fix to Represent United States at Pan American Championships
Fix will represent the stars and stripes in Mexico next month.
USA Wrestling announced the Pan American Championships team this week, and the representative at 61 KG will be Oklahoma State’s Daton Fix.
The 2022 Pan American Championships are scheduled for May 5-8 in Acapulco, Mexico.
The 61 KG weight class will be wrestled all on the final day of the tournament, Sunday the 8th, along with the following weights.
10 a.m. – Qualification rounds and repechage (MFS 57, 61, 65, 70, 74, 86, 97, 125 KG)
5 p.m. – Medal matches (MFS 57, 61, 65, 70, 74, 86, 97, 125 KG)
Fix has amassed a 78-4 record with Oklahoma State at the collegiate level, including a trio of national runner-up finishes. He went 25-1 this past season, falling to Penn State’s Roman Bravo Young in the national championship.
