Landyn Cleveland, a 2024 Safety, Commits to Oklahoma State
OSU’s latest commit knows how to take it back.
The Cowboys landed a turnover specialist.
Oklahoma State earned the commitment of Landyn Cleveland on Sunday, the 2024 safety announced via Twitter.
The 6-foot, 185-pound safety hails from Mansfield Legacy (Texas) where he has turned in back-to-back 100-plus tackle seasons. And he’s a ballhawk. Over the last two seasons, Cleveland forced two fumbles, recovered two fumbles and grabbed five interceptions, including one for a touchdown.
Cleveland is a three-star prospect and the No. 51 safety in the 2024 class according to 247 Sports Composite ranking. He is the seventh and currently highest-ranking member of OSU’s 2024 class. With his 0.881 Composite score, he elevates the Cowboys to the No. 24 class in the nation and No. 2-ranked class in the Big 12, as of writing.
