WATCH: Cameron McGriff Throws Down Game-Winning Alley-Oop in G League Game
McGriff still has bunnies.
Cameron McGriff is still rather explosive.
An Oklahoma State basketball player from 2016-20, McGriff is playing with the Memphis Hustle of the G League, and he threw down a game-winning dunk Monday night to cap off a 30-point performance. McGriff’s Hustle beat the Santa Cruz Warriors 122-121.
The Hustle had a side-out with 1.8 seconds to play, trailing 121-120. Former Texas Tech player Adonis Arms skied an in-bound pass all the way to the rim to McGriff, who didn’t need two hands. McGriff threw down a tomahawk jam to secure the win.

McGriff’s 30 points were a season-high for him. He also had eight rebounds. It was McGriff’s second 30-point game in the G League. He dropped 33 in a game with the Greensboro Swarm two seasons ago.
It was just the eighth game McGriff has played with the Hustle this season. He is averaging 9.8 points and 4.9 rebounds a game while shooting 48% from the field and 32% from 3.
Since his graduation, McGriff has bounced around a little while making a career playing basketball. He has played in the G League and overseas in Belgium, Greece and France. He also had a cup of coffee in the NBA, playing three games with the Portland Trailblazers in the 2021-22 season. He scored 14 points and brought down 15 rebounds in 46 minutes on the floor.
