OSU Wrestling: Three-Time Minnesota State Champion Landon Robideau Commits to Cowboys
Robideau is already a record setter in Minnesota.
Cowboy wrestling’s 2025 recruiting class has reached double digits.
Three-time Minnesota state champion Landon Robideau announced via Instagram on Tuesday that he’s committed to Oklahoma State. He had previously committed to in-state Minnesota in 2022.

Robideau just won his third individual state championship with St. Michael-Albertville High School in Albertville, Minnesota. He’s won every title at a different weight, claiming his first as a freshman at 126 pounds before winning his most recent at 152. He earned bonus points in every match of the state tournament this past season, finishing with three-straight technical falls after starting the tournament with a pin.
Still with one season left, Robideau cannot only become a four-timer, but he’s already a record setter in Minnesota. As a junior he broke the state’s single-season takedown record and already became St. Michael-Albertville High School’s leader in career wins during an undefeated junior campaign.
In the freestyle circuit, Robideau was a member of the 2023 Men’s Freestyle USA Junior National Team at 138 pounds. He was also part of the Men’s Freestyle 16U National Team at 126 pounds in 2021 and 2022.
Robideau is the fourth to commit to the Cowboys since David Taylor was hired to replace John Smith after his retirement.
