OSU Bullets

• The Pokes moved up a spot in the polls this week (PFB)

OSU’s Wes Pahl had the longest punt in the country last week – very impressive (X)

• This is fascinating – of all the games in college football, an analyst CBS tapped circled in on taking Arkansas to cover the 7.5-point spread:

One of the top college football picks (legendary Vegas handicapper Bruce) Marshall is recommending for Week 2: He’s taking Arkansas (+7.5) to cover at Oklahoma State in a noon ET kickoff on Saturday.

The Cowboys have playoff aspirations in the new-look Big 12, but Marshall points out that Arkansas has been a great program to back as an underdog recently. The Razorbacks are 17-9 ATS as underdogs since 2020, which is the same season that current head coach Sam Pittman took over.

• Pretty impressive – according to ESPN’s numbers, OSU has the No. 11 offensive in the country, the No. 39 defense, and the No. 38 special teams unit. Those numbers put them in the middle of a few teams – just above LSU and USC and just below Iowa and Louisville (ESPN $$$)

Cowgirl Soccer improved to 5-0 over the weekend (OKState.com)

Stripe out upcoming – can you remember previous ones? Seems like Pittsburg around 2019 was. Arizona State was something like striping.

• Ranking the 50 best breakfast cereals of all-time (Cookie Crisp at eleven is too high – had No. 42 for breakfast this morning, criminally underrated)
