Oklahoma State will be without starting right tackle Jake Springfield for the third game in a row.

According to Dave Hunziker on the pregame radio show, Springfield will be sidelined with an injury again as the Cowboys face Kansas State at 11 a.m. Saturday in Manhattan. Hunziker, though, did say he would guess Springfield could return after the bye week, which would be the Cowboys’ trip to BYU.

Arizona State transfer Isaia Glass has been playing in Springfield’s place. Before Springfield’s injury, Glass was splitting time at left tackle with Dalton Cooper.

OSU will also be without linebacker Justin Wright again, but there was good news, as Hunziker said Wright returned to practice this week. There seems to be hope he could play next week against West Virginia. Wright transferred from Tulsa before last season but still has played sparingly as a Cowboy because of injury.
