NFL Highlights: Chuba Does Chuba Things, Tylan Bounces Back and Justice Gets a New Nickname
A handful of former Cowboys made plays this weekend.
A handful of former Cowboys made highlights and headlines this past weekend. Let’s take a look at a couple of them, starting with another big game from a former Oklahoma State All-American 🍁💨.
Chuba Does Chuba Things
Chuba Hubbard was just three yards shy of his third-consecutive 100-yard rushing day — which would have made him the first Carolina RB to do so since Christian McCaffrey in 2019 — but he did find the end zone for the third-straight week.

Unfortunately for Chuba and the Panthers, they came up short, losing 36-10 to the Bears. They will host the Atlanta Falcons at 3:25 p.m. Sunday.
Ogbah Gets to the QB
Emmanuel Ogbah picked up his second sack of the season, downing New England quarterback Jacoby Brissett during the Dolphins’ 15-10 over the Patriots. He also recorded four total tackles.

Ogbah was released by the Dolphins this past offseason when he and the team could not come to a deal. It was assumed that he was asking more than the team was willing to pay him. But when free agent addition Shaquil Barrett announced his retirement, the team was scrambling. Fortunately for Miami, Ogbah had not been scooped up in free agency himself and was available. Now, five weeks in, Ogbah shares the team lead in sacks (two) and QB hits (five).
Ogbah and the Dolphins head into a bye week before heading to Indy to face the Colts on Oct. 20.
Tylan and Justice Contribute to Ravens’ OT Win
The former OSU teammates and current Ravens playmakers both were featured in Baltimore’s 41-38 overtime win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Tylan Wallace muffed a punt that led to a Ravens safety, but he bounced back in a big way after that, making two big catches for 31 yards, and then springing Derrick Henry on one of his patented crack blocks that led to the win.

Then Justice Hill got a new nickname: Mr. Third Down.

— Baltimore Ravens (@Ravens) October 7, 2024
To his point, this year Hill has four rush attempts on third down and has converted all four of them. On seven third-down targets, he caught four passes and converted all four of them. So if he gets the ball on third down, the Ravens don’t have to attempt a fourth down. Hill finished with just 17 rushing yards and one catch for eight yards.
Hill, Wallace and the Ravens will be back home to host the Washington Commanders at noon Sunday.
