After three weeks of watching their beloved Pokes lose, Oklahoma State fans might be thankful for a week off.

But college football is still being played this weekend, and with a number of big games, this might be a great time to decompress and watch some high-level action. Here is a look at different games to keep an eye on this weekend.

Big 12 Schedule

No 16 Utah (4-1) at Arizona State (4-1) — 9:30 p.m. Friday on ESPN
Cincinnati (3-2) at UCF (3-2) — 2:30 p.m. Saturday on ESPN2
Arizona (3-2) at No. 14 BYU (5-0) — 3 p.m. Saturday on FOX
No. 11 Iowa State (5-0) at West Virginia (3-2) — 7 p.m. Saturday on FOX
No. 18 Kansas State (4-1) at Colorado (4-1) — 9:15 p.m. Saturday on ESPN

Will Cam Rising ever play? That remains to be seen, but the Utes travel to old Pac-12 foe Arizona State this weekend. The Sun Devils are playing better than many expected going into the year, and Utah needs to bounce back after a poor performance against Arizona.

After a strong start to the year, the Knights have lost their past two games. After shutting out Houston to start Big 12 play, the Bearcats are coming off a shootout loss to Texas Tech.

BYU has gone from Big 12 dark horse to a true contender as one of two Big 12 teams that are still unbeaten. Provo is going to be rocking Saturday, and it’ll probably be rocking again next week when Oklahoma State comes in.

The other unbeaten Big 12 squad, Iowa State, has a trip to Morgantown this weekend. The Mountaineers are coming off a confidence-boosting win against the Cowboys this past weekend.

The conference’s game of the week goes on last, as Kansas State and Colorado play an after-dark game on Saturday. This game will have media hype, considering Colorado is playing in it, and it’ll also have two teams that still have a firm shot at making it to Arlington.

Other Games to Watch

Coastal Carolina (4-1) at James Madison (4-1) — 6:30 p.m. Thursday on ESPN2
UAB (1-4) at Army (5-0) — 11 a.m. Saturday on CBSSN
No. 1 Texas (5-0) vs. No. 18 Oklahoma (4-1) — 2:30 p.m. Saturday on ABC
No. 4 Penn State (5-0) at USC (3-2) — 2:30 p.m. Saturday on CBS
No. 2 Ohio State (5-0) at No. 3 Oregon (5-0) — 6:30 p.m. Saturday on NBC
No. 9 Ole Miss (5-1) at No. 13 LSU (4-1) — 6:30 p.m. Saturday on ABC
No. 17 Boise State (4-1) at Hawaii (2-3) — 10 p.m. Saturday on CBSSN

The Sun Belt has a big game Thursday night when Coastal Carolina travels to James Madison. Some Group of Five team is going to make the College Football Playoff, and while that team is likely to come from elsewhere, this game could prove to be big if Boise State, Army, Navy or other contenders get upset throughout the season.

Speaking of, the service academies are must-watch TV this season, as Army and Navy are both unbeaten. Army hosts a bad UAB team Saturday morning, but it’ll be fun to get a look at Army.

The Red River Rivalry/Showdown/Shootout/whatever we’re calling it these days is always a lot of fun. This’ll be the first time these teams meet as SEC foes.

USC is coming off a head-scratching loss to Minnesota. The Trojans haven’t lost at home this season, but that’ll be tested as No. 4 Penn State goes to LA.

Ohio State and Oregon from a rankings standpoint is the game of the week. It’s unbeaten vs. unbeaten. There’s not much more that needs to be said.

The SEC has seven top-15 teams in its ranks and two play each other Saturday when Ole Miss travels to Baton Rouge for a game against LSU. The Rebels boast the third-best offense and the best defense in the SEC, but the game being played in Tiger Stadium adds to this game’s intrigue.

Ashton Jeanty (a high school classmate of OSU quarterback Garret Rangel) is leading the nation in rushing by 260 yards. It’s ridiculous. On top of that, Boise State is probably the favorite to at this point to be the Group of Five’s representative in the playoff. If you’re up late on Saturday, might as well turn this game on.
