Oklahoma State Offers Two More Tulsa Transfers
OSU is after two more Tulsa transfers.
The transfer portal doesn’t open until Monday, but Tulsa players were able to get an early start because of Kevin Wilson’s firing. The Cowboys are trying to make an early advantage out of that.
Oklahoma State already grabbed the Golden Hurricane’s starting center, as Kasen Carpenter committed to the Pokes on Monday. Since, two more Tulsa transfers have announced offers to drive west an hour.
Joseph Williams
A 6-foot-2, 195-pound wide receiver, Joseph Williams earned the American’s Freshman of the Year award after catching 30 passes for 588 yards and five touchdowns in his first season of college ball.
Out of Arlington, Texas, Williams was a three-star prospect in the 2024 class and initially chose Tulsa over offers from Arkansas State, Texas State, UTSA, Oregon State, Washington State, Wyoming and others.
Since hitting the portal, he has announced offers to Kansas State, Ole Miss, Utah, Colorado, Wake Forest, OSU, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Arizona State, Kansas, Mississippi State and others.
Luke McGary
A 6-foot-3, 240-pound tight end out of Plano, Texas, Luke McGary has had plenty of interest since hitting the portal.
He’s announced offers to OSU, OU, Washington, BYU, Georgia Tech, NC State, Mississippi State, Houston, Duke and others.
He caught 17 passes for 231 yards and a touchdown as a true sophomore this past season. As a freshman in 2023, McGary caught nine passes for 115 yards and three scores.
Coming out of Prestonwood Christian, McGary had offers to Colorado, Harvard, Princeton and others before electing to go to Tulsa.
