Cowboy Baseball Cruises past UCF in Series Opener
OSU clobbers the Knights in Game 1.
Oklahoma State starter Harrison Bodendorf kept UCF scoreless through eight innings while striking out seven and allowing only four hits and one walk to secure a 12-0 Cowboys win on Friday night.
It was Oklahoma State’s first series-opening win since beating Arizona on April 11.
Colin Brueggemann and Brock Thompson made the most of their at-bats, finishing with two home runs and three RBIs each.

Jayson Jones finished with a game-high three hits and was the only other Cowboy to record multiple hits in the win.
Stormy Rhodes took the mound in the final inning, striking out two to wrap things up for the Cowboys (20-21, 8-11 Big 12).
The series against UCF (24-21, 6-16 Big 12) resumes at 6 p.m. Saturday, as OSU seeks its first series win in conference play since beating Kansas State three times during the opening weekend of April.
