There will be a change in leadership for the Cowgirl golf program after a 15th-place finish the the NCAA Championships.

Oklahoma State announced Wednesday that coach Greg Robertson wouldn’t be returning and that Annie Young would serve as the interim head coach during the coaching search.

“We appreciate Greg’s service over the past six years and wish him well in the future,” OSU Director of Athletics Chad Weiberg said.

A former Cowboy golfer, Robertson coached the Cowgirls for six seasons. In that stretch, OSU won two Big 12 titles and made it to the NCAA Championship every possible season. The Cowgirls finished as national runners-up in 2021.

OSU hired Robertson from Kent State, where he was a four-time MAC Coach of the Year and led the Golden Flashes to the NCAA Championships in his final three seasons with the program, advancing to match play twice.

Robertson graduated from OSU in 1997 with a degree in sports science before finishing his college career at New Mexico.
