OSU Hoops: Cowboys, Cowgirls Big 12 Pairings Announced for 2025-26

The Big 12 on Thursday announced the Big 12 pairings for both men’s and women’s basketball. Both the Cowboys and Cowgirls are looking to build off their moment from last season. But, as always, the Big 12 slate is meat grinder.

The Cowboys will be looking to build off the momentum they gained in Year 1 under Steve Lutz with an almost completely revamped roster. They went 7-13 and ranked 12th in the league last season. Let’s take a look at the who and where they’ll be paired with among Big 12 teams.

Cowboys at Home:

The Cowboys will host Baylor, BYU, Houston, Kansas, Kansas State and West Virginia.

Cowboys on the Road:

The Pokes will hit the road for matchups with Arizona, Arizona State, Cincinnati, Colorado, Texas Tech and Utah.

Cowboys’ Home-and-Home:

OSU has three home-and-home series this upcoming season, deals with Iowa State, TCU and Cincinnati.

Of note: The Cowboys’ trip to Arizona will be their first ever.

After turning in their second-best record in program history (25-7, 14-4 in Big 12 play), the Cowgirls fell in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. They finished third in the league.

Cowgirls at Home:

The Cowgirls will host Baylor, BYU, UCF, Houston, Texas Tech and Utah.

Cowgirls on the Road:

Jacie Hoyt’s squad will hit road to face Arizona, Arizona State, Cincinnati, Kansas State, TCU and West Virginia.

Cowgirls’ Home-and-Home:

The Cowgirls have home-and-home pairing with Colorado, Iowa State and Kansas.
