Jacie Hoyt sent out the incoming commitment bat signal on Monday night, and Tuesday, we found out why.

Addisyn Bollinger, a 5-foot-11 guard from Frenship High School (southwest of Lubbock), announced her commitment to Oklahoma State. She’s in the class of 2026.

Bollinger can fill it up. As a junior at Frenship this past season, she set school records for points in a season (596), most 3-point makes in a season (83) and made field goals in a season (223). In a game against Odessa-Permian (shoutout Friday Night Lights), she hit nine 3s and finished with 33 points.

Oklahoma State came in with an offer in May of 2024 and beat out offers from Arkansas, Wichita State, Grand Canyon, Florida Atlantic, Tulsa, UTSA and others for Bollinger’s services.

Hoyt has been selective but solid when adding freshmen as the Cowgirls’ coach thus far.

Stailee Heard was a star freshman on OSU’s 2023-24 squad and has since turned into an honorable mention All-American and All-Big 12 First Team selection.

This past season, Jadyn Wooten was named to the All-Big 12 Freshman team after averaging 6.5 points, 2.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists a game in her first season of college basketball.

Lena Girardi will be a freshman with the Cowgirls this upcoming season. She was the No. 63 player in the 2025 class and averaged 30.8 points and 12.9 rebounds a game as a high school senior, per MaxPreps.

All that is to say, when Hoyt takes a freshman, that freshman is usually quite good at basketball.
